How much does it cost?
It is absolutely free for applying. 50 companies will be shortlisted by the Advisory Board comprised of global and Indian CIO’s, product company heads, venture capitalists, and analysts. The selected companies will need to pay a fee of Rs. 25,000 to cover expenses for two attendees. Only the 50 shortlisted companies will get to attend the event.

Suren Gupta is executive vice president, Technology & Operations for Allstate Insurance Company, and a member of Allstate's senior leadership team.He is responsible for enterprisewide technology strategy, network infrastructure, enterprise applications, and technology - related governance, security and compliance activities. He also directly supports the Allstate Protection president, leading all aspec ts of Allstate Protection technology, and agency and customer support functions. In addition, Gupta is responsible for the integration of shared service functions.Gupta joined Allstate in 2011, bringing leadership, information technology, operations and s ales experience to Allstate. Since then, he has been instrumental in enhancing delivery capabilities and focusing on innovation. He also has deployed a three - year plan and roadmap, ensuring a clear technology and operations direction that accounts for tren ds in the industry and facilitates long - term decision - making.Previously, Gupta was Wells Fargo executive vice president and group chief information officer for consumer lending. Earlier at Wells Fargo, he held a similar role for the home and consumer fina nce group. Under his leadership, real estate lending was re - engineered with new delivery capabilities that enabled the field sales force to serve customers more effectively with just - in - time information.Earlier in his career, Gupta provided key leadership and vision as a founding member of the corporate executive team of Airclic Inc., a startup wireless Internet venture, and was senior vice president, informational technology and operations for GMAC Residential, a division of General Motors. Gupta also has held senior operations, sales, marketing and strategic development roles at INTELSAT, a telecommunications company, and at Thomson Corp., an information company.Gupta is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. He also received a master's degree in computer engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from George Mason University. He serves on the Chicago Public Library Foundation Board.
Chandra Venkataramani is the chief information officer (CIO) for Convergys Corporation, a global leader in customer management.Chandra is responsible for the global technology infrastructure of the company, as well as the planning, development, and delivery of technology products and services for Convergys' clients. In addition to the technology organization, Chandra is also responsible for Convergys' business-critical workforce management function. He reports to Andrea Ayers, president and chief executive officer.Prior to joining Convergys, Chandra held a number of executive leadership positions with Aegis.Chandra has a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from Louisiana Tech University, and an MBA in finance and information systems from New York University's Stern School of Business.
Ketan Mehta is CEO of MajescoMastek and Co-founder and Board member of Mastek (NASDAQ: MASTEK). Mastek is global IT solutions company operating in 8 countries with over 3600 professionals and approx. $170Million in revenues. Ketan runs the North American business focused on providing Intellectual Property (IP) led solutions to Insurance industry with 80+ companies as their customers. Prior to this role, he was focused on the mergers and acquisitions, alliances and joint ventures at MajescoMastek and Mastek. He was instrumental in building a successful joint venture between MajescoMastek and Deloitte Consulting in 2000. He also led acquisitions of STG (Systems Task Group), SEG software and Vector (insurance software companies) and played a key role in integration of these companies with MajescoMastek operations. Prior to this, Ketan has played a variety of roles within MajescoMastek, including leadership of international operations.Ketan holds a Masters degree in Business Management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.
Ed joined the Corum Group in 2012 as a Director in the firm's software M&A Practice. Corum is a global leader focused solely on Tech M&A. Prior to Corum, he founded MiddleBrook Advisors LLC late in 2010 an angel investor and advisory firm for growth oriented technology companies. From 2001 to 2010 he served in a number of Executive Operating and Board roles at Innovation Group PLC, including Group President, Chief Operating Officer, Asia Australia CEO and Global Marketing Director. He was elected to the PLC Board of Directors served a 4 year term as an Executive Director.He joined Innovation Group in August 2001 after leading the sale of MTW Corporation to Innovation Group as MTW CEO.At MTW, under his leadership as President, Board & CEO; the company grew rapidly, profitably and organically. The strong company growth and significant increase in company value was directly attributable to a unique trust based company culture that produced a shared sense of purpose, self motivated employee teams, low attrition and deep customer relationships.Before MTW he spent almost 20 years at Texas Instruments in the computer hardware and software technology divisions. As Vice President and General Manager for the Americas he was part of the Executive leadership team that grew Texas Instruments' Software Division from start up to $225m in revenues and 1100 employees in just 7 years. Currently he serves on the Advisory Boards for a number of organizations including Majesco Mastek, Social Security Solutions, Inc., and Certech an engineering and test solution company. He also works with 2 Private Equity Groups as an Advisor.Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Missouri State University and has attended targeted post-graduate programs, such as the Executive Program for Growing Companies and the 2011 Board Director's Consortium at Stanford Graduate Business School.
Partha Srinivasa joined HCC as SVP and Group CIO in July, 2013. His primary responsibility is to drive technology as key and strategic enabler for the business. Prior to this, Partha was the Group CTO and Global CIO of Zurich Insurance Group since early 2010, and before that he was the divisional CIO, CTO and SVP at Farmers Insurance Group (since 2004). Partha has over 20 years' experience in Insurance and Financial Services Industry with experience in some of the industry leading companies like Zurich Insurance, Farmers Insurance Group, Deutsche Bank, HP, Tata, etc. In addition, Partha has been technology advisor to many companies and is an ardent industry speaker on technology and innovation. Partha holds MS in Management from IIT, Chennai, India and holds Bachelor of Engineering.
Jack Pressman is the Executive Managing Director of Cyber Innovation Labs, LLC ("CIL"). CIL is an industry leader in the development of world class enterprise data center, cloud computing and meshed ultra-secure network facilities. Mr. Pressman has been designing and building mission critical IT facilities and wide area networks for the past over 25 years. He was the Technology Architect for the new Chicago Police Headquarters, the Chicago Police Wide Area Network, the Ford Supplier Campus (Chicago), the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Intermodal (Joliet) and the ultra-secure EMP Protected Cloud Computing Center at Iron Mountain (Boyers, PA). Mr. Pressman is an industry speaker and knowledge expert in enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Disaster / Workplace Recovery Plan implementation. Mr. Pressman is currently managing the global portfolio rollout of EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) & Solar Flare Protected Tier 3+ enterprise data center, disaster / workplace recovery and single-tenant cloud computing facilities. Mr. Pressman is a graduate of Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and is an advisor to both private equity and related investment banking firms in the data center and cloud computing market space.
Aiaz Kazi is the Senior Vice President of Products & Innovation Platform Strategy and Adoption. He is responsible for the platform technology vision, business strategy, platform adoption, and new platform initiatives. His areas of coverage are centered around SAP HANA, SAP HANA Cloud Platform, SAP HANA Marketplace and across all of SAP's Products and Innovation Platform portfolio including In-Memory technologies, Mobile, Analytics, UX, Integration, and Application Development. He is also focused on driving adoption across a broader ecosystem of startups, strategic ISVs, venture capitalists, incubators, universities, students, and developers. He has over 24 years of experience building and marketing enterprise software solutions, at SAP, TIBCO, webMethods, BEA, Advent Software, and TCS.Aiaz has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Bombay.
Patrick Funck is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Accretive Health. Patrick has 25 years of experience deploying new technology to global insurance carriers and large third party administrators, with accountabilities that have encompassed significant payment and financial processing systems, including large managed care platforms. Patrick most recently served as executive vice president and CIO at Sedgwick, a large third party administrator he joined in 2007, where he was responsible for all technology including North American claims processing and productivity management services. While at Sedgwick, he was part of a leadership team that stimulated significant growth for the company, more than doubling annual revenue. Prior to Sedgwick, he was chief information officer for third party claims administrator Broadspire Services, where he implemented a new strategic platform that gave the company greater ability to meet prospective client and carrier needs, while reducing annual operating costs. His career also includes service as vice president, information technology at Zurich Financial Services, responsible for North American claim systems; and vice president, information technology at CNA Financial Corporation, responsible for claim and underwriting systems initiatives and strategies. Patrick earned his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. in finance and international business from Illinois Institute of Technology, Stuart School of Business.
Ravi Koka is the Head of Insurance Products at Polaris Software Labs Inc, a leading provider of enterprise software for the insurance industry. Prior to this he founded SEEC Inc. and successfully completed SEEC's IPO on Nasdaq in 1997. Mr. Koka started his career with System Development Corporation ( originally a division of RAND) and was an adjunct associate professor at CMU. Polaris Software labs acquired SEEC in 2008.Mr. Koka is considered to be a thought leader in Legacy Modernization and SOA application development. He has authored several white papers and conducted seminars / webcasts and established best practices for implementing complex enterprise business solutions.
Jay Jayaraman is Vice President, Global Strategic Innovation and Technology Alliances with global responsibility for breakthrough innovation and advancing innovation capabilities across the organization. Jay's team is responsible for technology outreach, external partnership efforts and in identifying external innovation opportunities. His group works closely with the Global Divisions and Categories to build a sustainable long-term innovation pipeline. Most recently Jay was Vice President, Global Oral Care where he played a key role in the development of the Global Oral Care category and business. Jay provided thought leadership to the development of a well-defined and globally aligned Oral Care Strategy. In addition, the Oral Care Innovation Grids have become stronger and more focused. Jay's tremendous effort and dedication were instrumental in the acquisition and commercialization of a novel technology platform that is driving innovation globally. Jay also contributed to the development of the global Oral Care Brand strategy and the processes that support its consistent and impactful implementation on the ground. Most recently he championed the Colgate Global Facebook Initiative.Jay joined C-P India in 1979, and held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Group Product Manager, before moving to C-P Australia in 1987 as New Products Manager. He later returned to India as Marketing Director, helping to grow sales significantly in three years. In 1997, Jay was promoted to Vice President and Managing Director of C-P India, where he was instrumental in building a solid infrastructure and expanding our business.Jay holds a BE (honors) degree in electronics and communication engineering from University of Madras and an MBA from Indian institute of Management (Ahmedabad).
Guru Vasudeva is SVP and Enterprise Chief Technology officer of Nationwide Mutual Insurance, a $20 billion revenue financial services and insurance company. In this role, Guru is responsible for application development, project management, architecture and information risk management services across the enterprise. He also leads information technology strategy and technology-driven innovation for the company.Prior to this role, Guru was chief information officer of five Property & Casualty business units including Nationwide Direct, Allied Insurance, Scottsdale Insurance, Titan Insurance, and Nationwide Agribusiness. He joined Nationwide in 2004 as the chief architect, responsible for architecture and technology across Nationwide's business units.Guru has over 18 years of experience in operations and information technology. Before joining Nationwide, he spent six years at IBM as an executive architect focused on conceptualizing, selling, and delivering large Internet-based business solutions for insurance, retail, and government organizations. He has also worked for AT&T and Tata Consultancy Services.Guru has demonstrated success in strategic planning and leading transformational initiatives, as well as running and continuously improving large-scale operations. He excels in applying process discipline and technology to deliver measurable business outcomes and realize competitive advantages.He is co-author of the book, Patterns for e-Business: A Strategy for Reuse, which has proven effective in bridging the business and IT gap by quickly reaching IT solutions that satisfy business intent.Vasudeva holds a variety of awards, including the IBM Outstanding Innovation Award and the IBM Corporate Award. He earned an MBA in International Finance from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mysore in India.Guru resides in New Albany, Ohio and is married with two children.
KARLOS D. BRUCE
Graduate of the University of Kentucky in 1975. Twenty plus years in sales, sales management, and executive management of mining and construction equipment sales throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Ten plus years in executive management of quarrying, producing, selling, and logistics of crushed limestone aggregates. Ten plus years of executive management in sales, marketing, and product development for Armag Corporation of prefabricated steel facilities for physical security of arms, ammunition, and explosives, command and control centers, data centers, communications (classified and unclassified), generators, and associated support equipment. Leading role in development of the Armag ARC Vault, RF Shielded facilities for protection against Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP).
SASHI P. REDDY
Sashi Reddi is a successful technology entrepreneur, business leader, and an active angel investor. Sashi runs a seed stage venture fund, SRI Capital, that is typically the first institutional investor in various technology and media start-ups. He is also a member of the investment team at Gabriel Investments. Previously, Sashi was the founder and CEO of AppLabs, the world’s largest independent software testing company with over 2,500 QA professionals in India, the US, and the UK. AppLabs was funded by Sequoia Capital India. CSC acquired AppLabs in September 2011. Series A investors in AppLabs received a 10X return on their investment in 6 years. Post the acquisition of AppLabs by CSC, Sashi served as the VP & GM, Big Data and Analytics at CSC, reporting directly to the CEO. CSC (NYSE: CSC) is a $15 Billion IT services and consulting company. A serial entrepreneur, Sashi has started three other companies prior to AppLabs. These were EZPower Systems (web content management pioneer acquired by DocuCorp, and eventually a part of Oracle), iCoop (group purchasing dotcom), and FXLabs (leading Indian game developer acquired by Foundation 9 Entertainment). Sashi received his BTech in Computer Science from the IIT Delhi, an MS in Computer Science from NYU, and later a PhD from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Sashi serves on the advisory board of Wharton Entrepreneurship, board of Ben Franklin Technology Partners, as well as on the board of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA). He is a charter member of TiE Philadelphia and TiE Hyderabad. He also runs a charitable organization, SRI Trust, that supports the educational and overall development needs of 600 children in 3 schools in India.
Ned Curic is chief technology officer for Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), USA, Inc. Curic is responsible for defining and executing the overall technology strategy for TMS and ensuring alignment of regional and global efforts. Curic also oversees the development and promotion of architectural standards and frameworks to maintain a vision of future technology. Additionally, Curic is responsible for designing and delivering security and business intelligence frameworks to address the increase of complex technology. Curic leads the Innovation and Technology Centers of excellence designed to deliver innovative technology solutions. He evaluates those innovative technologies and determines how to use them to enhance IT flexibility and support business needs. Prior to joining TMS, Curic spent 13 years at Microsoft. Most recently he was the platform strategy advisor where he was responsible for engaging senior business decision makers, customers and partners in order to define the business value of Microsoft platform and cloud services. While at Microsoft, Curic held several other leadership roles including principal architect, security advisor and consultant with national security team and Microsoft consulting services. Curic identified and managed projects that utilized key innovative technologies creating new business value for the customers and partners. During this time, Curic also played a key role in assisting Toyota with several activities including, the creation of technologically advanced prototype showcases at the consumer electronics show and Toyota’s dealer shows. Curic spent seven years as a systems architect, consulting DoD contractors, internet startups and large financial enterprises before beginning a career at Microsoft. Curic studied computer science at the Technical University of Vienna in Austria and holds Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University .

Mr. Kalman works with senior executives of Insurance companies on competitive strategy, digital strategy, Customer-centric engagement and transformation initiatives, and draws on his expertise as a technologist and investor to develop pragmatic technical solutions that provide competitive advantage and differentiation to insurance company offerings. He is former Executive Chairman of UNIRISX LLC, a global insurance software provider specializing in SaaS-based policy administration. Mr. Kalman is former President and CEO of Jaguar Acquisition Corporation, a company that he led the IPO (NASDAQ: JGACU.OB) and later merged in a landmark transaction with China Cablecom, Ltd. (NASDAQ: CABL) marking the first foreign investment in the Chinese cable TV industry. Jonathan Kalman served previously as Managing Partner of Jaguar Capital Partners, a private equity investment firm that specializes in software and technology investments in the insurance, banking and payments industries. Mr. Kalman was President and CEO of Katalyst LLC, a merchant bank. Mr. Kalman oversaw over 50 transactions totaling over $1B in value, including the investment into Breakaway Solutions (NASDAQ: BWAY), where Mr. Kalman assisted the company through its explosive growth from 20 employees to more than 1,000 and an IPO led by Morgan Stanley. A physicist by training, Mr. Kalman began his career at IBM. Mr. Kalman holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science, Applied Physics, from Cornell University.
Akshaya is the CIO of Mashreq Bank and the CEO of their Technology subsidiary, Mindscape IT. He was earlier employed with Standard Chartered Bank where he had an outstanding career of 23 years. In his last role at SCB, Akshaya was responsible for driving Innovation and Big Data initiatives to further the Bank’s strategic agenda. In earlier roles, he was responsible for running the Technology subsidiary for SCB in India; setting up the Bank’s global ECMProgramme; developing the Bank’s Vendor Management function; and, was one of the key drivers of the Bank’s Outsourcing programme. Prior to joining the Bank, Akshaya worked in the IT Industry worked in various capacities from Software Development & Export, Data Centre Management, Sales, Product Management and Marketing. Akshaya is a strong believer in Innovation and Intrapreneurism and the need to groom and coach young start-ups to build India’s Technology product environment. Akshaya holds a B Tech (Civil Engineering) degree from the IIT, Delhi and has done his Post-Graduation in Systems & Marketing from the IIM, Calcutta.
